MALTI GYAN PEETH PURASKAR is instituted to honour the dedicated services rendered over a period of seven decades, by legendry educationist – Smt. Malti Mohinder Singh Syngle. Malti ji had passion for women empowerment and for educating the girl child. Malti ji did her Post graduation and obtained Bachelor in Teaching (B.T.) degree around the period of India getting Independence, defying all social norms since that was the period when traditional Indian families where not allowing the girls even to peep out of the house windows- thinking of educating the girl child was a taboo. Respected mother- Malti Ji joined Lord Almighty for her eternal home on February 13, 2019, at the age of 97.
